In the PS3 version, there is only one lever to pull. Some have to be on and some off to get all the platforms alligned in such a way as to reach the goal. But the solution isn't as simple as pulling all the levers. Some of the levers have to be pulled in order to move a platform into position to reach another lever. Each time you pull a lever one or some of the platforms move. There are a series of floating platforms and levers around the stadium. This was a bit of a head scratcher my first time through. It's like every instance in Ninja Gaiden where you had to think to figure something out, they replaced it with a fight where you just beat up the bad guy, or dumbed down or completely removed the puzzle.

there were these things and frankly I'm so disappointed at these changes! Besides the extra weapon, shinier graphics, Rachel missions, extra save points and shops (which make the game easier), etc. Out of curiosity I went to find what gameplay differences there were between versions. They killed just about every puzzle element in the game.

Holy crow, I think I figured out why Itagaki didn't like the PS3 version of Ninja Gaiden so much.

Sorry if this is old, I only just got Sigma.įirst off, don't take this to mean I don't like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, because it's an awesome game, and it's action is second-to-none - I'm just glad I didn't play it in isolation of the Xbox versions.
